This policy outlines what’s allowed and what’s not when you use cratemate.app (the “Site”) and any associated apps and services. By using CrateMate, you agree to comply with this policy. It works alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
CrateMate is a personal collection-tracking service, not a social platform — most of what you do on it stays inside your own account. The rules below focus on the few ways things could actually go wrong.
What's not allowed
- Using CrateMate for anything illegal or fraudulent.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems, or otherwise interfering with how it works.
- Scraping, copying, or republishing substantial portions of the Site or its data without our written permission. This includes any text or data mining for the purpose of training AI models or generating derivative datasets.
- Infringing anyone’s intellectual property rights, including in usernames, public crate pages, or anywhere else your account is visible to others.
- Impersonating another person or organisation, or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation.
- Anything else we reasonably consider abusive, deceptive, or harmful to other users or the service.
What happens if you breach this policy
We may, at our reasonable discretion:
- Issue a warning.
- Remove offending content (such as a username or public crate display).
- Suspend or terminate your account.
- Take legal action where appropriate, including for the recovery of costs we incur as a result of the breach.
Changes to this policy
We may change this policy from time to time. The “Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of CrateMate after a change means you accept the updated policy.
